school

i have to do better in school because I'm on the verge of not being back not semester. my freshman year i partied and wasn't doing what i was suppose to do to better my education. sometimes i think is college for me? was it my decision or my parents? or did i just do it to satisfy the feelings of others? if i don't do good this semester i am going to stop going to college. I'm not dropping out or quitting, I'm just going to find what i really way to do. does me doing that not make me a successful person in life in the future or does it make it seem as i haven't fully reach my potential?

september 11th 2001, where was I? i remember that day like it was yesterday i was in the 6th grade and was sitting in the hallway because i had got kicked out of class. it was a very sad day for everyone especially my home room teacher. she was crying as soon as she heard of the terrorist attack because her son worked in one of the twin towers and didn't make it out. with me being in the hallway i wondered my way to the principals office to see the attack on tv. i couldn't believe what was going on and didn't know how to respond to it, but rest in peace to everyone and no one will ever forget.

parking

I believe that the University of Memphis need to invest in some more parking for  commuter students. Even though i was late for class this morning, I would of been on time, but i couldn't find a parking spot. They invested there money in the University Center and repaving the parking lot but also added the gate that certain parking cards are not accessible to. With them having the gate, if you are not a resident you have to pay to park in a gated area. This morning I still didn't find a parking spot so I made one of my own and I am for certain that a ticket will be on my car when I get to it.

First blog

Hello, my name is Michael and I really don't understand blogging. I have a lot of questions for the person who invented this, even though it seems real easy to use. Since I'm not good with words, while typing this i am  going to pretend i am. Is blogging like an online diary for everyone to see and comment on? I will try to make the best of it and have better blogs about things people would actually want to read about. I need some clarification on what the word "blog" means.
